Michael Ferraro grew up in city New York but his birth town is cape Coral, FL. He attended a film academy in New York and went on to take part in a lot of acting workshops after graduation. Since his childhood he was driven to succeed. He did not have such a great time growing up for he hailed from a middle class family. Growing up not having what he wanted taught Michael T Ferraro actor to pursue his interests.
He was committed to supporting himself since childhood by looking for simple jobs to make some money. He mostly collected cans and garbage to make money. Also, he would mow lawns occasionally. He day dreamed a lot and liked to imagine that some crazy thing will come up and alter his life permanently. He loved to watch programs highlighting stars in the movie industry. That is how he became a movie addict. He could not miss going to the cinema for anything in the world. You would find him in theater on a weekly basis. That is where he made up his mind to pursue acting.
He started to attend acting classes at 16. The love for his dreams gave him the courage to dodge public speaking phobia. In addition, he knew if he was to go far in life he had to stop listening to what people had to say about him. He threw himself into acting and he excelled at it.
In his career, he has done almost everything that had something to do with acting. This includes co-directing, producing and script writing. In some occasions, he has scouted locations and led background lighting. The films he has taken part in range from student films to short films and films with independent length.
He had to raise his school fee so he worked as a salesperson and sometimes trained people on personal fitness. The determination to succeed saw him through. Those who have dreams to make it in the acting industry should understand that many sacrifices have to be made.
As much as talent is important for one to make it in the acting industry, Michael believes that it cannot take you far by itself. Being skilled is very important. Talent is something one is born with. However, it is upon you to develop the necessary skills to grow the talent you have. It needs many hours of practice in order to master the skills.
