Additionally, LEDs are normally beneficial for an extended period of time compared to other bulbs. Again, there are, to a great extent, immune to exterior shock and cannot be destroyed freely. Although there are benefits of LEDs, they similarly have limitations. First, they are typically more expensive compared to other light sources because of the additional expenses on power supplies that are needed.

The other disadvantage of the bulb is that its functionality is dependent on weather conditions. A change in temperature may cause the bulb to heat excessively and eventually blow out and fail. These bulbs are also limited and you cannot use them where spherical light is needed. The bulbs have not been manufactured to conserve the environment and they can largely pollute light and affect people lives negatively.

LEDs are not applicable in winter conditions since they do not radiate much heat compared to incandescent lights and may even have snow blocking them in traffic control which may lead to accidents. The final disadvantage is that LEDs are more attractive to insects than sodium vapor radiant lights hence not applicable in food webs.

Based on these advantages and disadvantages, they can be applied in indicator signs at sodium displays, light-weight message display, at airports and railway stations and also as destination displays for ferries, trains, buses, and trains. Due to the fact that they are cheap, they are also applied temporarily in glow sticks, and also by artists as a form of art.

The manufacturers of the LEDs have improved the bulbs and you can find bulbs that can be used for illumination. The bulbs are good in lighting streets and for automotive and bicycles lighting as well. They are also good for cameras and flashlights as well.
